The Unit UT12A Non-Contact Voltage Detector is a compact device shaped like a pen, capable of detecting AC voltage in the range of 90 to 1000V at 50/60 Hz frequency at a distance of up to 3 cm. When voltage is detected, both audio and visual indicators are activated. The Unit UT12A Non-Contact Voltage Detector is equipped with a low battery indicator and a standby mode that automatically shuts off the device after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Power is supplied by 2 AAA batteries with a voltage of 1.5V each.
