The Minco Heat 6K, 66 Ohm, 100m carbon heating cable is a unique technical solution for heating various objects. This cable contains 6000 carbon fibers and has a resistance of 66 Ohms per meter. When voltage is applied, it provides uniform heating due to the high efficiency of the conductor.
The Minco Heat 6K/66 Ohm carbon heating cable has several advantages:
1) Electricity consumption is 30% lower than that of regular wires.
2) Carbon fiber is highly elastic and mechanically strong compared to nichrome cables.
3) The carbon cable has increased fire resistance and does not burn out due to overloads.
4) Temperature regulation is achieved by adjusting the cable length or connecting it to different voltages: 12V, 24V, 110V, 220V.
In addition to being used as a heated floor, the Minco Heat carbon cable is used for heating various objects, from pipes and gutters to car steering wheels and dog kennels.
The carbon fiber of the cable emits infrared with a wavelength of 8-18 µm, allowing it to be used under laminate and linoleum. However, when installing a heated floor, additional time is required for connecting cable sections.
