How much cable is needed for an apartment or house
The exact measurement is known only by the project, but you can estimate the volume of the purchase in a minute. Wiring is usually divided into two groups: sockets - with a cable 3x2.5, lighting - 3x1.5. Then we calculate based on the number of points and the average length of the line from the distribution board, with a margin for turns and connections.

The estimate has a margin of about 15%. Points on the same line are usually rounded up, so the actual consumption is often lower — the figure is needed to avoid buying exactly enough.

Powerful equipment (stove, oven, boiler, air conditioner) is connected by separate lines of their cross-section - they are considered separately. Don't forget about the input from the shield and a small reserve: buying the same cable in batches is usually more expensive than getting it with a margin at once.
